Student Teaching Placement at Centennial High School in Champaign, Illinois. Responsibilities included taking over 4 classes (2 sophomore and 2 freshmen), as well as lesson planning and effective communication and collaboration with the hired staff and 2 cooperating teachers.

Student Teaching Placement at Catlin Grade School in Catlin, Illinois. Responsibilities included taking over 5 Language Arts classes (2 8th grade and 2 7th grade), as well as lesson planning and effective communication and collaboration with the hired staff, a Special Education teacher, and 1 cooperating teacher.

Field Placement at Central High School in Champaign, Illinois. Responsibilities included teaching lessons twice a week for 5 weeks in 2 Honors Junior English classes, as well as providing individual assistance for students on assignments. Fall Semester 2006.

Counselor Supervisor, Summer Enrichment Program for Talented and Gifted Students at the University of Oregon, Eugene, Oregon. Responsibilities included supervising and evaluating the counseling staff of college students, conducting office hours, as well as running camp events and disciplinary matters for campers ranging in age from 11-16 years old. Summers 2006-2007.

Field Placement at Ogden Elementary School in Ogden, Illinois. Responsibilities included teaching lessons once a week for 6 weeks in a 6th grade Language Arts class, as well as providing individual assistance for students on assignments. Spring Semester 2006.

Early Field Placement at Jefferson Middle School in Champaign, Illinois. Responsibilities included teaching a few lessons in 7th and 8th grade Language Arts classes and assisting students individually with reading, writing, and other required activities. Fall Semester 2005.

Counselor, Summer Enrichment Program for Talented and Gifted Students at the University of Oregon, Eugene, Oregon. Responsibilities included planning 4 special events for 18 students each, handling disciplinary issues, supervising and mentoring two groups of junior girls, encouraging teamwork between the girls, supervising meals, dances, and social hours after classes for students. Summers 2004-2005.

Tutor, R.E.A.D.Y. Program, Champaign, Illinois. Responsibilities included assisting academically and behaviorally challenged sophomore students with math, science, history, and English in an alternative high school setting. Spring semester 2004.
