Hi S.,
I just wanted to see if you might be available on Wednesday afternoon for me to stop by after school to meet with you. I was hoping we might be able to talk about the upcoming weeks I will be spending in your classroom and what you will expect of me. I am very excited to meet you and work with you!
Let me know what works for you. You can email me here (ekkross@uiuc.edu) or call me.
Thanks,
Erin Kross

Good evening Erin:
Thank you for your email; I am also looking forward to working with you for the benefit of both you and our students.
Mrs. A.'s schedule is typically the most densely packed; set your meeting up with her first, and I will try to arrange mine to blend well with it. We will be operating rather independently during the semester, so this might be a good way to begin.
Looking forward to meeting with you and discussing how we might approach the seven weeks.
F.
